Jaron learns to walk

Jaron has since last month been learning to walk. Now he can walk longer without support and getting more stable. However, he hurt himself more often now, since he keeps practicing. He had outgrown his first pair of bubblegummer shoes(size 6 for baby) and we got him the 2nd pair(size 6 for toddler). We took him to Starbucks and Spring for him to walk around. He was so excited, walking round and round pillars and simply walking non-stop.

Jaron's 1st birthday celebration

His birthday is coming up this Sunday. We already booked a restaurant to celebrate with family and relatives. He had grown so much since the last post. My mum gave him a nice haircut yesterday. Now he has 3 teeth on top and 4 below. He takes about 5 oz of milk every 3 hours. He likes to climb the stairs especially when nobody is looking. As he climb he will shout "Ark ark!" or "Lau Teng"(upstairs in Hokkien). He can call Papa, Mama(mum) & Mama(grandma). At times, he can call his own name but it sound more like "aa-nen". Whenever he wants to eat he'll say "mum-mum" & when he wants milk, he calls out "neng-neng". I think he is learning to talk faster than he learns to walk. Right now, he can stand when he hold on to something (tables, chairs etc). We bought him a pair of size 6 Bubbergummer shoes at Bata. He hates it. Keeps on pushing and throwing it away. Its hard to put on the shoes for him.

I have this wallpaper on my pc since last month. The cartoon character on the left is actually drawn by me more than 10 years ago. I think it look so much like Jaron. Its based on a Japanese comic about a baby but I can't remember the name. If any of you know, please tell me.

Update

I've been so busy I neglected this blog. Jaron hasn't grown much in the last few months. He still take 3 oz of milk (have not increase since 3 month old). Now he is very active. He used to be able to sit still in the car seat. Now he hate the car seat and prefer I hold him. But that is no easy task as he needs to be entertained throughout the journey. He has 4 teeth now. The bottom 2 was since 7 mth old and the top 2 jus started to grow a month ago. He would grind his teeth occasionally. He is now eating porridge twice a day. He still have some skin problem. Always scratching his head because of the itch.

Jaron's 4th month

I haven't updated for so long. :P Jaron has grown quite a lot since. He is now 9kg+ but still drink about 3 to 4 oz of milk. After the 3rd mth, he had learned to turn over when lying flat on the bed. He prefers to sit & stand rather than just lie around. But of course he can't sit & stand on his own yet. He likes to scream & laugh when he's in a good mood.

During the day time, he won't sleep much but when he's in a good mood, he wants to play and smile a lot. However, if we leave him alone, he will start to shout or cry. He is also quite happy when he's watching tv.

Jaron's Full Moon

We had a celebration for Jaron's full moon on 17th Feb 2008. We had it at home for close friends and relatives. Jaron was especially quiet and slept through the whole the night. This is how he looks like now. I think that cartoon on his shirt looks like him. :)
